1. Any child in Georgetown who has books they want to exchange can swap them for new books at the book swap. The only cost to participate is to provide one book in excellent condition for Blue Santa. This can be a book you already own, which makes this a free event for kids!
2. Every child in need who is supported by Blue Santa will have the opportunity to receive books as well as toys through our book swap donations to Blue Santa. The more children who participate in the book swap, the more books for Blue Santa. For every child that participates; Blue Santa receives one book. If every elementary child in Georgetown were to participate in the Book Swap this would amount to almost 5,000 books for Blue Santa! Wouldn't that be a wonderful way to give to our community?
